Glick PeaceWalk

The Peace Walk is a longtime wish of Gene Glick’s, who funded this project with a donation of more than $2 million through the Gene and Marilyn Glick Family Fund at Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF). Mr. Glick noted that although Indianapolis has the highest number of memorials outside of Washington DC, they are all to war. Mr. Glick wanted to celebrate peace and an idea was born. “With the Glick Peacewalk, we hope to honor ‘luminaries,’ people of peace whose creativity, perseverance, and concern for others improved life for everyone who came after them,” said philanthropist Gene Glick.
