Design Build

We at SFC are seasoned in the Design Build project delivery method.  This method fosters a collaborative team approach to meet the owner’s goals for a project.  From project conception, designers, builders, and owners work together to identify project goals, negotiate budgets and schedules, and complete construction. 
 
The Benefits of Design Build:

  • Responsibility: Provides owner with a single source of responsibility for the design, cost, quality and performance of the work
  • Costs: Provides the cost to the owner early in the design stage so that the decisions can be made on an informed basis. 
  • Time:  Design and construction are interwoven allowing details to be ironed out before they affect the schedule. 
  • Money:  Since design and construction are connected, the most efficient methods and materials for the project can be chosen.
